Imagine, Create, and Grow!

Calling All Preschoolers! Join Barb for Story Hour on Thursday mornings at 9:00. During Story Hour, the children will enjoy stories, develop social skills and get creative. These activities help build early literacy skills and a love of books, reading and literature. Meet new friends while learning social and pre-reading skills. Story time provides a fun, caring, comfortable environment for children and Barb looks forward to sharing her stories and activities with you!  Story time lasts about 45 minutes.
No pre-registration is necessary

Our tentative plan is to host Story Time for the months of September, October and November, break for the winter during December, January and February, and resume for the Spring in March April and May. Watch for notices on Facebook and on the library page of the Readlyn Chronicle.

A NOTE TO PARENTS ABOUT STORY HOUR

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Readlyn Community Library's "Once Upon a Time" Story Hour program.  We are excited that your child will be participating.  Story Hour will be held  Thursday mornings at 9:00 and lasts 45 min. - 1 hour and is for children ages three and up. Barb Sowers will be leading Story Hour, offering her time, talent and treasured tales to make this a truly special time.

Please take time after story time to select books to take home with you. We recommend spending at least 20 minutes a day reading to your child. We have a wonderful collection of sturdy board books, picture books, and other age-appropriate materials as well as parenting books. We are always glad to suggest books.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
