If you're interested in a board member position, please let us know!  Serving on the library board is a great way to become involved in the community.  Currently, our Board members serve 6 year terms (unless someone resigns early and their term is completed by someone else) and we meet once a month; usually on a Monday or Thursday evening depending on conflicts.

  1. Upcoming Events:

ISU Extension is planning on helping with a monthly kids’ program in the first week of the month again this school year.

 

Bremer County Historical Society “Passport to the Past” program started May 1 and runs through October. The library is the ‘stamp site’ for the Readlyn locations, which include the library, Freedom Rock, and the Historical Society. We encourage everyone to participate in the Summer Reading and Passport programs this summer!  It’s proving to be quite popular.

    3. Book Talk – Last Thursday of month, 6:00 pm
    4. Cribbage – Thursdays at 10:00 am
    5. Coffee Club – Wednesday mornings – 10 am
